You are in: Timeline -> 2000 -> Cruise
This was our honeymoon really. We had booked a three week cruise last year, and when we got engaged it seemed like a good plan to have the mega-cruise as our honeymoon. So, come March 2000 - we flew to South Africa, and hopped on a big white boat at Durban and it took us into the ocean...
That black line is the route we took... From Durban to Reunion Island for a day. On to Mauritius for two days. Then on to the Seychelles for a day, North and we crossed the equator. Through the Red Sea and then we traversed the Suez Canal, to dock at Egypt for the evening and the day. The next day we stopped at Isreal, and then sailed across the Mediterranean to Geneo where we landed and flew back to the UK. Cool? Oh yes... And remember that whilst in Egypt we saw the Pyramids at Giza and the Cairo Museum. In Israel we went to Bethlehem and Jerusalem. We hung out on the beach in the Seychelles, hired a car and drove round Mauritius, and on Reunion Island we took a tour into the volcanic circles to see amazing waterfalls and fantastic views.
